I Messed Up

So, because I had a content planner, I thought I had to fill it. No page could be blank.

I still stand by content planners. It is a great way to keep track of content that I want to write, and when it makes the most sense for it to come out. And there is some stuff I'm actually excited about writing that's about to come out.

But then I also filled in the blanks with stuff that I didn't actually want to write. And feeling like I had to write something I didn't want to write was making me feel burned out.

And it hasn't even been two months. I messed up hardcore.

I'm absolutely fine with the fact there won't be daily content anymore, because there's plenty here for someone who just discovers the blog. And I'm still going to write. Fuller House, the Christmas episode of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and the 29th anniversary of The Simpsons are all coming out this week.

Plus, I've been watching a lot of Christmas movies that I might want to dissect. Okay, not a lot, per se. I've seen Elf and It's a Wonderful Life twice and both Home Alones four times. I have newfound feelings about the sequel. And I just bought A Christmas Story. Every year it comes on TV, I try to do a challenge to see how many times I can see it in 24 hours. I might attempt it early this year, though, since people have banned me from their TVs during the holidays.

I'm also playing around with Gutenberg so I can update my opinions on WordPress. So, there is still going to be content, and I'm going to be excited about the content.

It just won't be everyday.
